Another school year is underway! It is very important for students to be mindful of their posture. The weight of a heavy backpack, slouching over taking notes, and looking down at a screen for long periods of time are only a few of the ways that one can compromise good posture, causing neck, shoulder and back soreness.
Tip 1: Sit all the way back in the seat of the chair, and make use of the backrest
Tip 2: Carry your backpack on both shoulders
Tip 3: Stand up and do a pectoral stretch in a doorway a few times throughout the day
