Getting outside for activity should be a priority especially during the warmer months. However, certain precautions should be taken to avoid over-exposure to the heat and sun. Choosing to get outside earlier in the day when it’s a bit cooler, covering up with light/breathable clothing, a hat and sunscreen, and ensuring that you are always hydrated by drinking water throughout the day (and not just when you feel thirsty), are all good strategies to get full enjoyment out of your outdoor activities.
