April is Oral Health Month and a great time to think about making regular visits to your dentist to catch problems before they become more complicated and costlier to treat. Throughout the pandemic, many people have delayed their dental care assuming nothing is wrong, but most dental problems begin unbeknownst to the individual. Tooth decay and gum disease don’t hurt in the early stages. A small cavity ignored might eventually require a root canal instead of a simple filling. The best dentist/patient relationships will spare you time and money because prevention and early detection can be the focus!
