If your back is bothering you consistently, at work, at home in recreation…you may be moving wrong, or just not moving enough!
Four great strategies to ‘get up, and get moving’ are:
- Do easy stretches at work; Get out of your chair, do some simple lunges in place; keeping the back straight and the movement always comfortable.
- Try a yoga or Pilate’s class; get educated as to what you can do on your own. Learn the proper technique as to prevent injury and strengthen your core.
- Lastly, dust off those weights, grab some walking/ski poles and get out in the snow for a hike; the uneven ground will challenge you and get you moving!
