Calling All Volunteers!

Are you passionate about giving back to your community? Do you have a green thumb and a heart full of compassion? Saskatoon Services for Seniors needs YOU! As we gear up for the spring and summer seasons, we’re launching our Yard Work program.

Why Volunteer with Us?
• Make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in Saskatoon.
• Build lasting connections and friendships with fellow volunteers.
• Enjoy the outdoors while engaging in fulfilling work.
• Gain valuable experience and skills in yard maintenance.

What Will You Do?
Volunteers will assist seniors with various yard tasks, including:
• Lawn mowing and edging
• Raking leaves and debris
• Trimming hedges and bushes
• Garden bed maintenance

Flexible Commitment
Choose a schedule that works for you! Whether you can spare a few hours a week or a couple of days a month, your time will make a tremendous impact.

We’re also on the lookout for a volunteer gardener to join our team!
As a volunteer gardener, you’ll have the opportunity to:
• Cultivate and care for a variety of plants, flowers, and vegetables.
• Help beautify our outdoor spaces with your gardening expertise.
• Assist with watering, weeding, pruning, and other essential gardening tasks.
• Share your knowledge and enthusiasm for gardening with our community.

No formal experience necessary – just a love for plants and a willingness to get your hands dirty! Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, we welcome all levels of expertise.
