Orthopedic braces are medical devices designed to address musculoskeletal issues that may arise from disease, a congenital condition, or an injury. They are used to properly align, correct the position, support, stabilize, and protect certain parts of the body (particularly the muscles, joints, and bones) as they heal from injury or trauma. Orthopedic braces are available for many parts of the body, including knees, shoulders, back, hands, and feet. A qualified medical professional can determine what type of orthopedic brace is ideal for you, as well as the fit, type of support, function, and level of stability or protection.
Matchmaking Testimonial
“I joined Camelot Introductions and found the love of my life! If it wasn’t for Lianne’s persistence, and her innate ability for matching people, then I would still be floundering. On-line dating was a waste of my time. Camelot was exactly what I was looking for – a professional service dedicated to matching people with similar interests and dreams. Getting married in November – I’ve never been happier! Thanks Lianne!”

Home Remedy for Denture Pain
Sometimes dentures can cause pain or discomfort, especially if your dentures are old or ill-fitting. An effective home remedy you could try is using black tea bags! Black Tea is full of tannic acid, an astringent that helps reduce pain, as well as, reduces swelling of the gums. Tannic acid also repels harmful bacteria. Steep a black tea bag in a cup of hot water for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and set aside to cool off. Hold it on the affected gum area for 10-15 minutes then rinse your mouth with warm water. Repeat 1-2 times daily. (Note: not intended to replace consultation with a medical professional.)

Dry eye can be a temporary or chronic condition caused by risk factors such as hormonal changes, certain medications, diseases, ageing, and laser eye surgery. Dry eyes are not vision threatening but can affect everyday life in doing things comfortably like computer use and reading. It should be managed to avoid future potential problems such as corneal scars. See your Optometrist, as they will assist in prescribing proper relief of symptoms.
All Chest Pain is Cardiac…
…Until proven otherwise. There are many non-cardiac reasons for chest pain. Consider cardiac etiologies first when chest pain occurs. Muscular strain or injury in the chest wall can worsen with movement. Respiratory issues can cause pain with coughing or breathing. Indigestion or heartburn can mimic cardiac pain. Fibromyalgia, arthritis, and even skin conditions can cause pain to the chest. A cardiogram offers valuable information. For more subtle cardiac events, blood work at an ER or urgent care facility is essential. You’ve gotta have heart! Never second guess chest pain.
