Group Exercise Classes Give You More Motivation
Should other people be part of your exercise routines? That’s largely a matter of personal preference, but exercising with a companion or in a group, whether at yoga or dance classes, or small group personal training sessions, has many upsides. That’s because people tend to stick more faithfully with group exercise classes than with solo fitness routines. “A bit of gentle peer pressure and friendly competition can go a long way when it comes to motivation,” says Dr. Dawn Skelton, a professor of aging and health at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. Even informal arrangements between friends have the advantage of making you accountable to somebody other than yourself. Learn about more benefits to group fitness at ProActiveFit.ca
Benefits of a Sauna Experience
A sauna is a small room that is heated to between 60-90*C. The purpose of the sauna is to heat up the body, the same way that your body would if you had a fever, helping your body heal itself! Heat decreases pain signals that reach your brain, reducing any pain or discomfort and increases the flow of oxygen to muscles helping heal damaged tissues. Heat also allows your body to sweat out any toxins that have built up in the body. Saunas are also face-friendly, they assist in relaxing face muscles, aid in clearer complexion, and help remove dirt and oil. One sauna session increases the amount of oxygen and nutrients delivered to your organs, especially your skin!

Help Support Seniors in Our Community Today!
Today more than ever your support is extremely valuable. With the increased cost of most goods and services, many seniors in our community are finding it hard to find the services that they can afford. Your support helps progress our services while playing a vital role in keeping seniors independent. With your support we can help allow seniors in Saskatoon to remain independent in their own homes. With your generosity, we look to help supplement the costs associated for some of our low income seniors in the community. We also use donations to fund programs that are free to any senior like our Friendly Caller program. Every dollar of support stays right here in Saskatoon. We have many lower income seniors that need our services and the generosity of your support allows us to be able to assist them. Now more than ever your support will help many seniors living in Saskatoon. Please visit our website at www.saskatoonservicesforseniors.ca and show your support for seniors today!
