What Do Denturists Do?

Denturists help those who are missing some or all of their natural teeth. They design, repair, reline, and make removable dental appliances. Your denturist will collaborate with you, your family, and other healthcare professionals to promote and maintain your oral health.
When making a set of dentures, the objectives are:
• supporting and protecting your gums and the bones in your mouth;
• enhancing your face and holding your jaws the proper distance apart;
• carefully choosing individual teeth to match what you already have; and
• allowing you to speak clearly and chew without stress.

Homeopathy and Chronic Disease

Do you live with aches and pains because there is no other option? Homeopathy offers a holistic and complementary treatment to both chronic and acute diseases. It individualizes patient care by focusing on how symptoms of disease manifest in you, and not on the disease itself. Using homeopathy, chronic disease is manageable in a gentle, permanent, and rapid manner. Homeopathy is an individualized branch of natural medicine that stimulates the body’s innate ability to heal. Each person manifests disease in their own unique way, so Homeopathy uses thorough case-taking to find the most individualized remedy for each patients symptoms.

Get Your Greens

Spring is just around the corner, and the timing is perfect to start adding more colours into your diet. Leafy green vegetables contain many important macro and micronutrients. In 1 cup of broccoli or kale, there is actually 3 grams of protein! Try adding vegetables such as spinach, kale, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage to your salad. These vegetables will not only add flavour and a richer colour to your meal, but also drastically increase the amount of vitamins A, C, and K, which help with immune function and vision, decrease cholesterol, and assist in synthesis of protein and the binding of calcium for bone health.

Hair Loss and Prostate Cancer

Benign prostate enlargement and scalp hair loss are quite common among middle-aged males. The problems are known to come from the same origin, dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Scientists in Australia found that men with bald spots at the top of their heads were 1.5 times more likely to have prostate cancer than those without bald spots. The association was particularly strong for men who were diagnosed with high-grade prostate cancer at 60–69 years of age. In contrast, there was no link between a receding front hairline and cancer.

Resolve Your Diabetic Condition

It has been proven that type 2 and pre-diabetes is a metabolic issue caused by lifestyle. It has also been proven that a dietary correction will halt, reverse, and even eliminate this chronic health issue. This correction is based on ancestral science. What food groups did your ancestors consume during evolution? Your genes expect a similar diet. Having blood sugar test strips allows you to measure how a dietary correction is working. Prefer to ‘manage’ diabetes while your health continues to decline OR are you willing to make a dietary correction and allow your body to heal? Take advantage of a free discovery call with a Primal Health Coach.

Combining Medications

People often don’t think about over-the-counter (OTC) drugs when a health professional asks if they are taking any medications. OTC drugs can include things like pain relievers, allergy medications, and even herbal supplements. Mixing doctor-prescribed and OTC medications can present numerous problems related to dangerous drug interactions. Interactions can cause simple reactions such as rashes, or more serious reactions such as difficulty breathing or seizures. Certain ingredients in medications can also overlap, meaning the patient is ingesting more than the recommended amount of a certain ingredient. To prevent dangerous interactions between OTC and doctor-prescribed medications, tell your pharmacist or health professional about ALL drugs and natural products you are taking.

Do You Have a Valentine?

Do You Have a Valentine?
Are you single on Valentine’s Day? Although it is only a day, it is representative of where your love life is at. Finding yourself single can be very isolating in today’s couples’ oriented society. People often start out with online dating and become increasingly frustrated and disappointed with the games and lack of accountability. As a professional matchmaker with over 24 years of experience, I have facilitated thousands of successful love connections that are still going strong many years later. As a matter of fact, I just received a call from a couple I matched 22 years ago. They called to thank me and let me know I enabled them to live a life of love.

Healthy Valentine’s Day

Is the person you care about constantly on the go and always juggling multiple tasks? The body is not capable of differentiating between life-threatening stress and minor stress. Accumulated stress can do more harm than you realize in today’s fast-paced lifestyle. Making the time to take care of the body is a critical skill. Not to mention that reducing stress levels can improve the immune system and aid in sleep quality. If your loved one is not capable of making time for themselves, why not give them the gift of a relaxing spa experience this Valentine’s Day?
