Natural Healing For Your Body

Bowen is a restorative therapy that allows the body to heal itself. It can provide a path for the body to heal even in the presence of a chronic pain condition such as fibromyalgia or sensory neuropathy. In addition to restoring muscle and nervous system integrity, Bowen treatments can shift the central nervous system from the sympathetic (flight and fight) response to the parasympathetic (rest and restoration) response. As a result, it can positively affect physiological functions such as circulation, arterial pressure and heart rate, digestion, sleep, lymphatics and the endocrine system. Bowen is very gentle such that individuals, even when in constant pain, find the treatment relaxing and calming for the body. Bowen can be performed over loose clothing or with the individual sitting in a chair or a walker. This makes it ideal for individuals of limited mobility.

Benefits of Chlorogenic Acid

Chlorogenic Acid is the main active ingredient in the Green Coffee Bean. It is a powerful thermogenic fat burner and has been found to aid in weight loss and help slow down the body’s absorption of fat from our regular food intake. It increases metabolism which also helps in the weight loss process. It holds promise in many aspects of health and cognition similar to bioflavonoids and shares some effects similar to caffeine, but less potent. Studies show that Chlorogenic Acid may also decrease the absorption of dietary carbohydrate, as well as provide anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. This may have benefits for people who are at high risk of diabetes and heart disease. It also helps regulate the flow of bile from the liver thereby reducing liver cancer and cirrhosis of the liver. Why You Need Kombucha!

Kombucha is a living health drink made by fermenting tea and sugar with the Kombucha culture. The result can taste like something between sparkling apple cider and champagne, depending on what kind of tea you use. Known as the “Immortal Health Elixir” by the Chinese and originating in the Far East around 2,000 years ago, Kombucha is a beverage with tremendous health benefits. It can efficiently act in health preservation and recovery due to four main properties: detoxification, anti-oxidation, energizing potencies, and promotion of boosting immunity. Seven main health benefits of Kombucha include: Detoxification by counteracting liver cell toxicity, aids in digestion by counteracting free radicals that create mayhem in the digestive system., Kombucha also increases energy, boosts immune health, helps heal and prevent joint damage, and reduces the risk of cancer as a result of the glucaric acid. In addition to this Kombucha also helps with weight loss by improving metabolism and limiting fat accumulation.

Managing Multiple Medications

When taking medications more than twice a day, the likelihood of forgetting increases. For this reason, it is preferable to use convenience packing / bubble packs to serve as a reminder. This type of packaging can help to space your medications appropriately. Prescription medications can interact with each other, sometimes causing adverse side effects. However, over the counter products such as vitamins or herbal products can also interact with prescription medications – this can potentially change the effectiveness of the drug and cause harm. If you are on prescription drugs, it’s important to have a discussion with your doctor or pharmacist before taking any over the counter products. A pharmacist can also conduct a full medication review with all your prescription and over the counter products and advise you on safe use. If you are on a complex medication regime, a pharmacist is able to help you monitor the effects of your medication.

Top 5 Ways Oregano Oil Can Help You

1. Defence Against Harmful Organisms. Oregano oil is known as nature’s most potent defender against unwanted invaders.

2. Strong Antioxidant. Antioxidants fight free radicals and oxidation — the process by which your cells age and wear out. Oregano oil contains high levels of antioxidants to help fight damaging free radicals.

3. Supports Good Health. Taking oregano oil is no guarantee that you’ll never get sick, but when you want to avoid what’s going around, oregano oil can be an extra line of defense and provide support against common, seasonal ailments.

4. Digestive System Support. Oregano oil supports digestion by stimulating the flow of bile to your digestive organs. This can help you get more nutrition out of your food and enjoy a more consistent system.

5. Excellent Nutrition. As an excellent source of vitamins A, C, and E, and zinc, magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium, copper, and niacin, oregano oil can be helpful in helping you meet your nutritional requirements.

Puppy Problems

Puppies are obviously adorable! And thankfully so, because when they accidentally bite us or chew something they shouldn’t, it takes every bit of our patience to not get mad. Chewing is a natural, normal behaviour for dogs of all ages and breeds. Puppies need to be watched at all times to prevent them from chewing things they are not supposed to. When we can’t be supervising them, we need to crate them or limit their options of things to chew so they are not a danger to themselves or your property. The most important thing to teach your puppy is to share. Share their toys, food dish, socks, treats, bed area and their “people”. This is essential to prevention of resource guarding (guarding something of value to the dog). With a lot of patience, you can begin to change the dog’s attitude from “Get away from my stuff” to “Would you like a toy?”
