Growing Roots Therapy offers therapeutic services and interventions for children,youth and families. We work with families to address concerns related to behaviour, anxiety, grief/loss,separation,family stress,trauma and other concerns. We work from a play therapy approach and use creative methods such as puppetry, sand tray, storytelling and art. We also offer parent/child/caregiver relationship counselling using a method called: Theraplay. Beyond our one-on-one and family sessions in our Therapeutic playroom, we also offer professional development for other professionals and workshops for caregivers. We are fully qualified with Master's level therapists who have undergone specialized training in working with children and play.
