A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found the average time to return to physical activity was 21 days sooner in individuals who started physiotherapy two days after their injury! By not seeking early intervention, you run the risk of an injury becoming chronic (which makes it more difficult to treat), and waiting longer to return to normal activity.
