Essential oils can be great travelling companions. Be sure to keep a bottle of Eucalyptus essential oil in your carry-on. Eucalyptus is known as an immune booster and decongestant; if change of altitudes leads to sinus discomfort, inhale this before the plane takes off and while it lands. If you suffer from motion sickness, carry Ginger essential oil with you as it can prevent and reduce symptoms of nausea. Peppermint essential oil may help to prevent headaches caused by motion sickness or stress. If you know what ailments you are prone to, prepare for the journey beforehand by adding a few drops of the correct essential oil to aromatherapy jewelry, or a personal inhaler.
