Prescribing for Minor Conditions

Your pharmacist can assess and prescribe medication for minor conditions that do not require a doctor’s visit. These conditions include mild acne, canker sores, hay fever or seasonal allergies, emergency contraception, nail fungus, cold sores, birth control, headaches, hemorrhoids, hives, insect bites and stings, impetigo, menstrual cramps, pink eye, intestinal parasites, minor sprains and strains, oral thrush, shingles, vaginal yeast infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), indigestion, heartburn/acid reflux, and smoking cessation.
