Seniors’ Programs!

Kitsilano Neighbourhood House in Vancouver, BC, is a cherished non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors. We offer a range of programs and services designed to help seniors connect, thrive, and receive the support they need.
Seniors Drop-In Lunch
Join friends and neighbours for light exercise, engaging conversation, delicious meal, and either an informative presentation, fun activity, or entertainment! No pre- registration is required (drop-in only).
5th: Multicultural Lunch: Mexico! Enchiladas with Refried Beans
12th: Fettucine Alfredo
19th: Shepherd’s Pie
26th: Soy-Miso Glazed Fish with Rice & Roasted Veggies

Cost: $7 drop-in (or buy 10 meal punch-card and get your 11th meal free!) or 5 for $35
Choose to Move
A FREE, science-backed physical activity support program that connects you with a coach (Sara) to create a personalized activity plan. It’s not a fitness class, but a chance to get motivated and join a supportive community. Email Sarad@kitshouse.org to join the next series!
Memoir Writing Workshop Series
Join our Memoir Writing Workshop Series, led by guest facilitator Beth Coleman! Connect with others as you write, read, and share your life stories for just $10. Enjoy guided sessions from 2:00 to 3:30 PM, with all materials included. Upcoming dates: Nov 4, Nov 18, Nov 25, Dec 2. Register online or at the Kits House front desk!

Join us in shaping programs that reflect your needs and desires. Share your thoughts, experiences, and ideas to help create meaningful changes that benefit our senior community. Your input will have a lasting impact and contribute to a stronger, more connected community!

Seniors’ Information & Resources Services
Trained Senior Volunteer specialists provide FREE confidential one-on-one assistance to individuals seeking information and access to various services.
When: Tuesdays 2:00-4:00pm & Wednesdays 10:00-12:00pm (in-person); Thursdays 1:00-3:00pm (online) Location: Seniors Resource Center (2425 Vine Street)
