Turning Books into Scholarships! In 1965, CFUW Saskatoon held its first book sale. Over the years it has grown to the Mammoth Book Sale it is today. We rely on the generosity of fellow book lovers to donate the books for our sale. Hundreds of volunteer hours go into the receiving, sorting, and selling of donated books. Each year CFUW Saskatoon awards over $30,000.00 in scholarships and bursaries to students in Saskatoon. Most of the money comes from proceeds of the Book Sale.
