May 31 marks World No Tobacco Day, a day that the World Health Organization uses to inform the public of the dangers of tobacco use. What better time to quit smoking? There are plenty of great reasons to kick the habit, including: lower blood pressure; better circulation; improved lung function; and lower risk of various types of cancer, stroke, and coronary heart disease. Quitting smoking can also reduce the risk of pregnancy complications and impotency, as well as can add years to your life expectancy. It’s never too late to quit and reap the many health benefits from doing so!
