Many of us are addicted to the feeling of productivity, efficiency, and accomplishment. Creating lists and stroking them off rarely stopping, constantly doing, over-compensating, chasing the need to be needed, and by doing so, over-riding our energy and wellbeing. Striving to feel accomplished and good enough! The funny thing is…there will always be more work to be had, more needs to be filled, and getting ahead doesn’t really exist. Curious…what would happen if we begin working to live? No longer superseding our needs and desires, setting firm boundaries around our work schedules and hours, not letting our cell phones and texts interrupt or run us in the present moment, unplugging each day and listening to the rhythm of our bodies and soul’s desire… slowing down, welcoming in a new pace and place to honour laughter and the joy of being.
